Israel Autographed Designer Folders are special folders produced by many of Israel's stamp designers that are almost unique to Israel philately. These folders incorporate a unique design by the graphic artist(s) of the stamp; the stamp(s) is/are then affixed and First Day Cancelled; each folder is  idividually signed by the designer(s) of the stamp in a hand numbered limited quantity which may vary from issue to issue, but generally less than 100. These are collected for their visual beauty and topical nature; they are generally under 8-1/2” x 11” in size,  and can almost always be framed if desired.   Because of the limited quantity, once an issue is sold out it is almost never available in the aftermarket, unless collections are sold. Please note: Folders are not produced and thus are not available for each issue; consequently there is no way one can complete a collection. Folders not in stock have no price noted.
